Hi friend,

What does the phrase “naturally clean” mean to you?

Does it mean naturally healthy?

Naturally germ-free?

Clean without harsh chemicals?

“Naturally clean” is a simple way to say all of these things.

To get something “naturally clean,” we can use essential oils that are known to reduce the presence of germs. There are a lot of essential oils that can help!

We really can use essential oils to keep every area of our homes clean—and yes, they absolutely WORK! They can clean our kitchens, our bathrooms, our floors, freshen the air, and even reduce dust mites in our linens. (Read this blog post about Palmarosa for dust mites!)

In this month’s newsletter, I’ll share a few great cleaning oils with you, as well as some different ways to use them. I know you’ll love these blends!

A Recipe for You:
Hemlock's "A Healthy Space to Breathe" Diffuser Blend

This is an air cleansing diffuser blend that comes from my book, The Heart of Aromatherapy. Diffusing essential oils that are good at reducing or neutralizing germs is a sweet-smelling way to freshen the air in your room and make it a healthier space to be (and to breathe)!

Hemlock’s “A Healthy Space to Breathe” Diffuser Blend

  • 6 drops Hemlock (Tsuga canadensis)
  • 4 drops Saro (Cinnamosma fragrans)

Want some ideas for substitutes? Try . . .

  • 6 drops Siberian Fir (Abies sibirica) and 4 drops Ravintsara (Cinnamomum camphora ct. 1,8 cineole)
  • 6 drops Piñon Pine (Pinus edulis) and 4 drops Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus)

The best smelling natural cleaning spray!

The Best Smelling Cleaning Spray with Essential Oils

Here are some things that make Peppermint essential oil flash its brightest, happiest smile:

  • Making Aromatherapy blends with its friend Lemon.
  • Hanging out with its friend Orange.
  • A living space that’s fresh and clean WITHOUT harsh products!
  • Supporting its immunity with essential oils.

All those things considered, you’ll probably understand how excited Peppermint is about the natural cleaning spray I’m going to share with you.

Aromahead Video:
How to Use Peppermint Essential Oil

This video shares another recipe to use Peppermint essential oil for cleaning. Peppermint’s “triple treat” talent for reducing germs, supporting health, and freshening the air makes it perfect for this!

You’ll also learn more oils I like to blend Peppermint with, how to use it for pain relief, and a skin-cooling hydrosol spritz recipe.

Watch it here!

For me, some of the best things about using essential oils for cleaning are that I’m surrounding myself with health-supporting oils, and NOT surrounding myself with harsh chemicals that can strain immunity. (Shouldn’t cleaning support immunity, instead of stressing it?)

Enjoy your naturally clean, healthy, fresh, germ-free, harsh-chemical-free home!
